Fourth Call for Proposals Now Open
On September 12, 2016, GAFSP launched the fourth Call for Proposals from all eligible countries for funding forstrategic programs to alleviate poverty, improve rural incomes, and improve food and nutrition security. GAFSP expects to allocate at least $125 million in total grant funding to the 3-5 highest ranked proposals received electronically by the deadline (11:59pm, January 9, 2017 - Washington, D.C. time).
GAFSP projects focus on country-led investments in one or more of the five key GAFSP components: raising agricultural productivity; linking farmers to markets; reducing risk and vulnerability; improving non-farm rural livelihoods; and technical assistance and institutional support. A more detailed scope of the Program is reflected in the Framework Document.
Further details can be found in the Call Documents listed on this page. Please feel free to contact email@example.com with any clarification questions. Throughout the open period, GAFSP will publish frequently asked questions and the responses below.
