$6 million to provide financing to increase and modernize cassava, maize and sorghum value chains in Cameroon

In collaboration with the World Bank and IFC, this initative targets the three largest agricultural value chains in Cameroon – cassava, maize and sorghum – grown by over 75% of farmers in the country.  It  supports the provision of access to credit and productive assets to producer organizations working with Société Générale Cameroon.

This will enable GAFSP and IFC to help intensify production systems and contribute to increased production, food security, and competitiveness as well as to improved livelihoods and reduced poverty for beneficiaries
