Strengthening Sustainable Resilience to Food and Nutrition Insecurity

About the Project

The project's goal is to sustainably improve food security and incomes for smallholders, women, and young people involved in value chains in the Cascades, Boucle du Mouhoun, Hauts-Bassins, and South-West regions, which are grappling with the impacts of climate change. The targeted value chains - rice, cowpeas, market garden crops, non-timber forest products, and small ruminants - in addition to their strong impact on food and nutritional security, offer employment opportunities for women and young people, enabling them to improve their incomes and living conditions and have a positive impact on the local economy and the well-being of the entire population.
