In preparation for COP28, the Global Agriculture and Food Security Program had prepared a series of webinars focusing on the connection between climate, gender, and nutrition in country projects. The goal of the series was to showcase the work supported by GAFSP on the ground in different regions to internal audiences at the World Bank as well as other Supervising Entities, donors, partner organizations, and external audiences attending COP28. The Agriculture for Nutrition Project in Lao People’s Democratic Republic was profiled in the first webinar from the series, featuring Soulivanh Pattivong, IFAD’s program focal point for Lao PDR, Nancy Aburto, author, and lead editor of the recent “Climate Action and Nutrition” report from FAO, and Ioannis Vasileiou, Senior Specialist of the Climate-Smart Agriculture global team at the World Bank.
