About the Project
The project aims to strengthen the capacity of member producer organizations (POs) to build climate resilience and support smallholder farmers’ adaptation to climate change. It will directly benefit 9,454 members (including 4,586 women and 3,597 youth) across 16 local organizations in nine regions.
The project will strengthen organizational and technical capacities across 34 member POs through climate adaptation awareness, participatory planning, and the establishment of an agricultural advisory network. It will scale up agroecological practices and inclusion of women and youth through improved seed systems, water management, Participatory Guarantee Systems (PGS), and microfinance-linked savings and credit schemes. It will also reinforce PO governance and use monitoring and evaluation systems to support learning, scaling, and national-level advocacy.
