Providing Support for Smallholder Farmers, Agribusinesses, and Countries

Our Mission

The Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (GAFSP) is a multilateral partnership and financing platform dedicated to improving food and nutrition security in the world’s poorest countries. We support smallholder farmers, agribusinesses, and countries in the world’s poorest regions, helping them withstand global shocks and build resilient, sustainable agriculture and food systems that empower vulnerable farmers, their families, and communities.

Our Priority Themes

Climate resilience, women's empowerment, nutrition, and fragility, conflict, and violence (FCV) are at the heart of GAFSP’s mission. By connecting the dots across these themes, we turn overlapping challenges into opportunities for lasting change.
